FAQs

Residential Property FAQs

Straight answers to the questions we are asked most often.

What is the difference between an apartment and a builder floor?

An apartment is a unit in a multi-storey society with shared amenities and maintenance. A builder floor is a complete floor in a low-rise building, usually with its own entrance and fewer shared facilities.

What is carpet area?

Carpet area is the usable floor area inside the walls of a home. Under RERA, developers must quote carpet area. Built-up and super built-up areas include walls and a share of common areas.

Villa or apartment — which is better?

Villas offer privacy and space but cost more to buy and maintain. Apartments offer security, amenities and lower upkeep. Your lifestyle, budget and family size should guide the decision.
